Doodle Dragon Studios Latest Challenge - Birthday

Do we HAVE to grow up? Can we not just sit around and play all day? I know I don't want to grow up! Well here is our challenge this week celebrating "growing up"....yup, you got it...Dustin Pike has a birthday. He is now 12. Make a card with a birthday theme using one of the Doodledragon Images. Just attach it using Mr. Inlinkz and you too could win a goodie. Be sure and check back to see if your a winner. We pick a "Pikes Pick" winner as well as a random winner every challenge. If you do not yet own a Doodle Dragon image just wait till Friday's and get your Free one...free is great, right? But most single images in the store are only a buck or two...thats the cost of a kitchen sponge and we don't need sponges if we don't grow up.

So end of last year I discovered that when Google + merged with Picasa they obliterated photos off thousands if not MILLIONS of peoples blogs.. mine included :'( I had put off trying to fix it because it was just SO depressing as that was almost 4 years of work. Well this morning I FINALLY sat down to do it and realised what a mammoth task it was. At times I was tempted just to delete the bl**dy thing and start afresh but I persisted. I started reuploading all the photos for my posts on my craft blog and after doing just one years worth in the end I bit the bullet and ended up culling a LOT of posts (from 400 odd to exactly 100!!) 2011 posts have the photos but ones from previous years dont and I only kept the posts with important info like getting on DTs etc. Im not sure what to do about my personal blog as Id like to keep it because it has a lot of info of things we have done over the past 4 years but don't know if I am quite up to reuploading all those photos too yet :/

Dude Time Doodles' September Sketch Challenge

Hi friends! Do you believe that it's September, a month full of noteworthy festivities, especially the first day of school! September is National Chicken Month, Collect Rocks Day is on September 16th and the fourth week brings us National Dog Week. As usual, we're starting the month with a Sketch Challenge that will aid you in creating for any of this month's celebrations. Our sponsor is the fabulous Bonibleaux Designs, home sweet home of all the Dudes of Dude Time Doodles. The winner will receive the image of their choice and there are badges to win!

Doodle Dragon Studios Challenge - Yummy In My Tummy!

Dustin must be feeling hungry....this weeks challenge is "Yummy in my tummy" using one of his images. Something food related. There are lots of images to choose from so this should be an easy one. If you don't have any "yummy" images here are a few suggestions from the store CUPCAKE DRAGON, WIDDLE MOOSE, BEAR SPILL, HALLOWEEN Images are full of pumpkins too and still a yummy deal! Dudetime Doodles August Inspirational Challenge

That's right, with the NFL Lockout over, college and high school football starting in full swing in a couple weeks, and volleyball also starting soon, we've decided we need to celebrate our sports!

While others started making snowflakes, snowmen, and cute plump men in red suits attempting to get a head start on Christmas cards, the naughty Dudettes highjacked Dude Time Doodles' resident artist and locked him in a haunted house overnight. He swears he met Gavin Ghost up close and too personal. We didn't believed him until we saw Gavin with our very own eyes. Naturally, he's a gentle, friendly ghost and wishes to help you get a head start creating for Halloween.

Before you know it, we will be celebrating Thanksgiving, Chanukah, and Christmas and then we start all over again. For those of you that like to work ahead, Grandparents Day is September 11 and for those that like being on the good side of the boss, National Boss Day is October 16. Before we get too far ahead of ourselves let's concentrate on having fun.

Today begins a new sketch challenge and it is being sponsored by the world famous Bonibleaux Designs, home of Dude Time Doodles. The winner will receive the image of their choice, plus, we also have badges. You have one week to link your fabulous creation right here. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, August 9.

You are not required to use Bonibleaux Designs although it would make us really really happy and giggle a lot if you did!

MUST be a masculine themed card, you can use humor, innuendo, be a little naughty, sarcastic, but it has got to be for a DUDE!

We are going to have a fabulous time this week with our new challenge!!! Before we get to the challenge I wanted to tell you that Dustin is changing up the Challenge rules a bit. He is going to hold off on the Pikes Points system for a while and go back to the "Winners get an image". The good news is you can enter as many times as you want again. He wants to spend time drawing more images for you instead of trying to make sure everyone has gotten their points for the store. You want more images right? So, lets get back to playing already!!

This weeks challenge is GIRL POWER. Using one of Dustin's images create something a little bit girly, or a lot girly...that is up to you.

The DoodleDragon Crew has come up with some fantastic creations to give you some inspiration. Somehow each one has used some form of pink (go figure!)
